We prioritize innovation and constantly improve our parcel locker network solution to maintain it at the forefront of the last-mile segment.
The Research and Development Department is the central element of our company's strategic vision based on our fundamental values.
The R&D team is actively exploring various paths to increase the performance of our lockers
We manufacture the main boards of our lockers to maintain control and product quality, as well as to ensure better energy management for our autonomous lockers.
We are dedicated to consistently refining mechanical designs to enhance performance and reduce risks, including the risk of fraud.
We are exploring new network systems to ensure consistent service during harsh weather, recognizing the importance of reliability in such conditions.
The most technologically advanced Autonomous Parcel Locker
The industry demand drove our Research and Development Department to create a user-friendly and sustainable locker solution. This led to the development of an autonomous locker equipped with all the peripherals featured in the classic lockers.
Our team also recognized the importance of using an always-on router for constant access to information, especially during months with low solar radiation and peak sales season.
The challenge was to ensure network coverage between buildings. With this in mind, R&D team developed Europe's and possibly the world's most technologically advanced autonomous parcel lockers.
Key characteristics of the energy - independent parcel locker include:
Electronical Key
The Electronic Key has revolutionized maintenance management by addressing the inefficiencies associated with traditional mechanical keys. In networks with many lockers, relying on mechanical keys can make tracking and controlling access heavy and inaccurate.
In contrast, electronic keys offer a smart, independent solution that simplifies access control and maintenance oversight. These energy-independent devices enhance security by requiring specific access rights for connection, ensuring that only authorized personnel can unlock the lockers.
With electronic keys, technicians can only access lockers with approval from the network administrator, and access is granted strictly for the required time frame. This control level minimizes security risks and streamlines operations, saving time and improving overall maintenance efficiency.
Thermal casing for batteries
ARKA's R&D team has developed an innovative battery compartment year-round that ensures consistent battery performance. The compartment features a thermostated case with sensors, providing essential temperature regulation.
In winter, it warms the battery to maintain optimal performance, while in summer, it prevents overheating, thereby protecting the battery from extreme temperatures. The thermal casing effectively safeguards the battery from extreme cold (-25°C) and high heat (+65°C).
