The most technological advanced Autonomous Parcel Lockers

The need for advanced autonomous lockers without the requirement for power outlets and with a peripheral system that easily integrates into various networks drove the development of our most advanced lockers. Our R&D team recognized the importance of constant access to information and efficient use of routers. They faced the challenge of maintaining access to information during months with low solar radiation, coinciding with peak sales season, and ensuring network coverage between buildings. Utilizing this information, our R&D team developed Europe's and possibly the world's most technologically advanced smart parcel lockers.

Our lockers are technologically advanced and energy-efficient, consuming only 7 W when not in use (over 90% of the time). They are designed to conserve energy, reduce costs, and feature energy-saving modes controlled by a master system to ensure power is only used when necessary.

One of our most prominent lockers is the SunCharge Locker, an essential part of our autonomous lockers portfolio. It offers advanced power management and high energy production capacity, ensuring reliable and efficient power supply even during months of low solar radiation, providing uninterrupted service to customers. This locker includes a battery and a sophisticated system comprising advanced power management, high energy production, and substantial energy storage.

 

The system consists of solar panels, batteries, an energy management module, and charging and power management electronics, providing a robust energy solution with benefits for both clients and end users.

 

Electronical Key

Electronic keys were developed to improve maintenance control. Relying solely on mechanical keys can lead to inefficiencies in managing and tracking large numbers of keys for an entire network. The electronic key is an intelligent and independent device from the locker, assisting network locker owners in managing maintenance more effectively.

The key is energy-independent and secure, requiring the proper rights to connect. Technicians can only access the locker when granted permission by the network administrator and only for the necessary period.

Electronic Suits for Batteries

ARKA's R&D team has developed an innovative battery compartment that ensures consistent battery performance year-round. The compartment features a thermostated case with heating and sensors.

In winter, it warms the battery to maintain optimal performance, while in summer, it prevents the battery from overheating, thus protecting it from extreme temperatures.

Frîncu Cezar

Meet Mr. Frîncu Cezar, an experienced technology executive with over 13 years of industrial design and mechatronics expertise.

As the Chief Technology Officer of ARKA, Mr. Frîncu is responsible for driving the company's technological vision and leading its development efforts. He oversees our team of developers and engineers at ARKA, with a strong focus on promoting innovation and technical excellence throughout the organization.

He has been instrumental in developing all the courier products offered by ARKA, including creating state-of-the-art lockers with unique features in the market. Thanks to his contributions, we have acquired several patents and continue to file for more in specific areas of the courier and postal industry.

Alexandru Diaconu

Mr. Alexandru Diaconu is the Head of Industrial Software Automation at ARKA, with nine years of experience in the field. He studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Energy, and Applied Informatics at Technical University Gheorghe Asachi. 

He has completed specialized programs, including the Technical Certificate for Detection Systems, Video Surveillance and Access Control, and Security Systems Designer from Brahms International. Additionally, he has completed the Simatic TIA Portal Programming course by Siemens.;

Mr. Diaconu is skilled in problem-solving and has deep expertise in industrial automation software, programming languages, and software development methodologies. He has a strong track record of successfully leading and executing complex projects for diverse clients, making him a key asset to our R&D team.

 

Băsescu Marius

Mr. Marius Băsescu, Head of Electromechanical Automation at ARKA, brings over ten years of experience in the field. He has a strong track record in leading and executing complex electromechanical automation projects and is known for his exceptional technical expertise.

A graduate of Transylvania University in Brașov with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mr. Băsescu has furthered his knowledge through various certifications, including Security Systems Engineer from Brahms International, Technical Competence from Honeywell, and training in Microwave PDH Equipment Installation from Romacces Comunicatii.

As a senior leader, Mr. Băsescu is highly esteemed for his achievements and dedication. He heads a team at ARKA focused on implementing cutting-edge electromechanical automation solutions, driving innovation and excellence in our R&D efforts.
