ARKA Smart Parcel Lockers will take part in Noaptea Companiilor, a national Romanian initiative that invites the public to visit local companies after working hours and discover the people and the processes behind the products and services. The event will take place in on the 16th of October 2025, with companies across Brașov opening their doors to the community.
For ARKA, this edition has a special meaning. It marks the first time we participate in Noaptea Companiilor and coincides with an important milestone for our company: 18 years of continuous activity. The event offers an opportunity to share our story locally and to show how technology designed and built in Brașov supports parcel locker networks across Europe and North America.
What Visitors Can Expect
During the event, visitors will be welcomed into ARKA’s production facility through guided factory tours led by our team members. These tours will offer a closer look at how our parcel lockers are designed, assembled, and tested, as well as the technologies and workflows behind large-scale locker manufacturing.
Guests will also be invited to learn more about ARKA’s software development, company culture, and career opportunities. Team members from different departments will be available for open discussions, questions, and informal conversations about working in a Romanian technology company with an international presence.
A dedicated presentation will walk visitors through the evolution of ARKA lockers, from early prototypes to the solutions we manufacture today, including autonomous and grid-powered models. The evening will also include hands-on interaction with our locker technology, allowing visitors to scan a QR code at the locker and win a prize.
A Special Guest and an Anniversary Moment
This year’s Noaptea Companiilor edition will also include a visit from Daniel Buzdugan, well-known Romanian media personality and ambassador of the event. His presence highlights the importance of opening local companies to the public and encouraging dialogue between industry and community.
In the same evening, ARKA will mark 18 years since its founding, a moment we will celebrate together with visitors and colleagues. From our beginnings in industrial automation to our current role as a technology partner for courier and postal operators, this milestone reflects a journey shaped by innovation, adaptability, and people.
